Yan Jingxin’s pistacia chinensis carving

Qufu pistacia chinensis carving is one of the ancient traditional carving arts in Shandong Province. With a history of more than 2,400 years, it takes the pistacia chinensis unique to the Cemetery of Confucius as the raw materials.

Yan Jingxin started to learn pistacia chinensis carving when he was 7 or 8 years old. He has been engaged in the work for more than 80 years.
